Bourne Morris

Summary

Bourne Morris joined the Reynolds School faculty as a full professor in 1983. In addition to teaching, she served for six months as director of affirmative action and, in 2003, was elected chair of the faculty senate. Bourne taught marketing communications and co-designed and taught the Reynolds School’s full semester course in media ethics. She has published articles on media ethics, and is the author of “Advertising Ethics” in the Encyclopedia of Advertising. She redesigned the advertising courses and, in 2000, entered her students in the National Student Advertising Competition of the American Advertising Federation. Three years later, the 情色五月天 team won the national competition.

She has written about the 情色五月天 economy for the 情色五月天 Public Affairs Review. She created a presentation for Town Hall of Los Angeles on “Advertising in the 1980s” and wrote and gave several speeches in New York, Los Angeles and Reno. At 情色五月天, she did graduate work in creative writing with author Chris Coake and retired in 2009 to devote her full attention to writing fiction.
