情色五月天 INBRE history

情色五月天 has been funded since 2001. Since then, 情色五月天 INBRE has been supporting researchers at the state's primary research institutions: 情色五月天, Reno; 情色五月天, Las Vegas and 情色五月天 Cancer Institute. The support has included funds for early career investigators as well as funds to establish and expand a series of statewide research service facilities. In addition, 情色五月天 INBRE established and developed a Biomedical Students Pipeline Program that has mentored underrepresented students enrolled in 情色五月天's higher education institutions.

情色五月天 INBRE's fourth funding cycle

情色五月天 INBRE's fourth funding cycle runs from 2021-2026. The focus of this funding cycle is to build on the infrastructure developed during the first ten years and to build new programs based on new NIH initiatives in clinical translational research as well as building more programs to serve undergraduates and encourage high school students to pursue degrees in the sciences.

The following objectives are the focus of 情色五月天 INBRE's current funding cycle.

  • Bringing more biomedical researchers to 情色五月天
情色五月天 INBRE develops the research base and capacity of the host and partner institutions through Developmental Research Project funding for early state investigators and by providing research and mentoring support to faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate and undergraduate students.
  • Supporting research service laboratories
情色五月天 INBRE supports research service cores in the areas of bioinformatics, proteomics and genomics through staffing and service awards that serve researchers and students at the host, partner and outreach institutions.
  • Enhancing programs to train the next generation of biomedical researchers
情色五月天 INBRE continues to build on its successful and popular Biomedical Students Pipeline Program to prepare students at primarily undergraduate institutions for transition to four-year research institutions and for entry into graduate school. During this funding cycle, 情色五月天 INBRE is funding programs at Truckee Meadows Community College, College of Southern 情色五月天, 情色五月天 State University, Great Basin College, and Western 情色五月天 College. 情色五月天 INBRE will continue to fund undergraduate research opportunities by putting students in research labs and giving them beneficial, hands-on research experience. New in this funding cycle is the Tribal Academy of Health and Science that supports Native American students with culturally relevant assistance in their education and career development pathways. These experiences are often the ultimate influence that inspires students to pursue research careers.
  • Collaborating with other western IDeA states

情色五月天 INBRE is collaborating with other Western IDeA states (Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico, Alaska, Idaho and Hawaii) by funding Undergraduate Student Interstate Research Opportunities, regional scientific and programmatic meetings, and a regional resource exchange.
